Developed from the ground up to be the class leader in recoil reduction. The Stoner compensator delivers and unprecedented 83.5% recoil reduction using our propriety radial baffle system. This eliminates virtually all muzzle rise for insanely fast follow up shots. Shooting full auto capable guns with this brake has been described as Hollywood movie magic and hence the name.
- Industry Leading 83.5% Recoil Reduction when using 223/556/22Arc/224 Val/ and other 22 Wildcats
- Unique Radial Machined Ports
- Standard ½-28 Thread for Most AR15’s
- Full Auto Rated
- Black Oxide Coating
- CNC Machined
- A311 Steel
- 100% Made in the USA
* When installing, first thread the compensator onto the end of the barrel then tighten the lock nut when properly aligned. The threads on lock nut are left handed so they turn the opposite direction when compared to a normal thread. Use a 15/16” or 24mm wrench (English and Metric are basically the same at this size) and some common sense when tightening. 25 foot pounds is plenty.
** Properly designed compensators redirect noise back towards the shooter. So from the shooters perspective the rifle will be louder. Minimum recommend barrel length for high powered riffles is 14.5 inches.
**Reverse Thread Jam Nut to Eliminate Crush Washers
**Ear and Eye Protection Always Recommended
Stoner 223 Comps are a great addition to your favorite rifle
- For the varminter they make seeing your impacts much easier and send less noise down range
- For the plinker they make follow up shots much faster
- For the competition shooter you pretty much need a good comp to win so why not run the best
On full auto guns... it’s as easy as they make it look in Hollywood
Also Available in 9mm for pistol caliber carbines (9mm PCC) with a ½-28 threaded barrel
As good as the comps are on a 223 one could argue they are even better on a 9mm. On a 9mm PCC there is less gas pressure available to reduce recoil and the bullets are heavier so the overall recoil reduction number will never be as high. However, 9mm PCC are typically fairly smooth shooting with low levels of noise. With a Stoner Comp they now have a moderate level of noise and are super smooth shooting.
