You’ve got three ways to install the compensator depending on how you want it to perform:
 
1. Steel Spring Washers (Recommended)
Highest locking force
Most secure under hard use
Best overall performance and what we recommend
Requires both washers installed (they create a spring preload when compressed)
 
2. Large O-Rings
Medium locking force
Good balance of retention and flexibility
Designed for models with longer threaded barrels
Only one O-ring needed for install
 
3. Small O-Rings
Lightest locking force
Cleanest/lowest-profile look
Best for lighter use setups
Not recommended for high-rate setups (like FRT use)
